Police have charged a man over the alleged armed robbery of four people in Marsden in late December 2017.
At 8.15pm on December 27, the group was walking along a lit pathway between Cindy Street and Therese Street when it is alleged a man jumped over a fence and demanded their phones and wallets.
As the group was handing over their belongings, the male allegedly appeared to point a firearm at the ground and discharge a single shot.
The male then left the scene on foot and was last seen on Cindy Street.
No-one was physically injured.
A 27-year-old Edens Landing man has been charged with four counts of armed robbery and one count each of fraud, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of ammunition.
He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
