Police have renewed their appeal for public assistance to help locate a woman reported missing from Mareeba.
Sarah Booth (pictured) was last seen around 11:30am on Monday, February 19 leaving her grandmother’s home in Townsville on her own.
She is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 152 centimetres tall with shoulder length, brown hair and was last seen wearing a skirt, pink short sleeve shirt with white writing on it.
Sarah’s 2003 Gold Hyundai Accent hatchback was located abandoned Murray Street, Rockhampton on the afternoon of February 20.
Police believe she may have been sighted in the Caboolture area by a member of the public on Saturday 3 March and that she may also have been in the Tewantin area on the Sunshine Coast in the sometime in the week prior to this.
Sarah’s immediate and extended family are extremely concerned for her welfare and they urge her to make contact to confirm she is safe and well.
