A registered Victorian sex offender has failed to tell police of his whereabouts sparking a statewide manhunt to locate him.
Jeamy Olaa, who is also known as Jimmy Akot, was required to tell police where he resides as part of his sex offending reporting obligations.
The 29-year-old man’s last known residential address was in Deer Park, some 17km west of Melbourne, police say.
Olaa is described as African in appearance, about 175cm tall with a solid build, black hair and black eyes.
He also has distinctive tattoos which includes two dice on his right inner forearm, a chest tattoo with letters ‘NWA’, and a star tattoo on his left ear.
He is known to frequent Melbourne’s western suburbs.
Police are asking for the public to contact them should they see Olaa but have warned not to approach him.
