    Suspicious death investigation, Preston

    Detectives are investigating following the discovery of a man’s body in bushland at Preston, south of Toowoomba today.

    Shortly before 9am, two tourists discovered the man’s body near Preston-Boundary Road and called police.

    The man has since been identified as a 28-year-old Toowoomba man.

    A crime scene has been declared with investigators and scientific officers in attendance.

    An investigation centre has been established at the Gatton Police Station.

    Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have any information to come forward.
