Serious traffic incident, Mermaid Waters

Police are investigating a serious traffic incident in Mermaid Waters this morning. At 9.30am a 65-year-old woman was crossing at the intersection of Markeri Street and Sunshine Boulevard when she was struck by a vehicle. Rape charge, Cairns

Police have charged a boy following the alleged rape of a woman in Cairns this morning. It will be alleged a teenage boy gained entry to an Edmonton home around 5am and sexually assaulted a female resident. The woman and boy were not known to each other.
